Rich Meyer has served as the President of JSerra Catholic Highschool in San Juan Capistrano, CA since 2012, with nearly 20 years of experience in both public and private education at the secondary level. Hailing from Chicago, Mr. Meyer worked in sales until discovering his true vocation as an educator. After graduate studies (M.A.Ed. English Education, Benedictine University;M.A. Spanish Language & Literature, Middlebury College), he and his family moved overseas to Spain where he taught middle school English. Upon his return to the U.S., he taught Spanish and English for seven years in Illinois. Prior to JSerra, Mr. Meyer spent six years as the headmaster at Northridge Preparatory School. He has served on a number of non-profit boards and currently is the Board Chairman for the Duc In Altum Schools Collaborative. He and his wife, Anne, have eight children, all of whom have graduated from JSerra or are in the JSerra pipeline as current or future students.
