Kelly Fremon Craig is a screenwriter, producer, and film director. She is known for directing, writing, and co-producing the 2016 coming-of-age comedy-drama, "The Edge of Seventeen."Fremon Craig was an intern in the film division of Immortal Entertainment, where she read and developed film scripts and began to pursue screenwriting.Fremon Craig was raised in Whittier, CA. She received her B.A. in English from the University of Carolina at Irvine. While in college, she wrote sketch comedy and spoken word poetry.
