Ismail Einashe is a freelance journalist, known for his writing and reporting on immigrants in Europe. He is a member of the journalism project Lost in Europe, a cross-border journalism project that investigates the disappearance of child migrants in Europe. He is also a member of the editorial board of the magazine of the Tate Galleries, Tate Etc.Einashe’s reporting has appeared in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The New York Times, The Atlantic, Prospect, NPR, The Nation, and Index on Censorship. He has worked for BBC Radio Current Affairs and he has presented on BBC radio. He co-edited the book “Lost in Media: Migrant Perspectives and the Public Sphere,” which was published in 2020.He was also a Fellow at the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma at Columbia University, and an associate at the Cambridge Migration Research Network.
