Dr. Matthew Lieberman is a social psychologist and neurologist. He is a Professor of and Social Cognitive Neuroscience Lab Director at UCLA Department of Psychology, Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences.Dr. Lieberman's research focuses on the neural bases of social cognition, personality, social perception, social rejection, and physical pain.Lieberman's first book, Social: Why Our Brains Are Wired to Connect," was published in 2013.
