Christian Davenport is an aerospace journalist. Currently, he reports on NASA and the space industry for The Washington Post's Financial desk. He was a producer and co-host of the Discovery Channel's coverage of SpaceX’s first crewed mission. He has also served as a Public Policy Scholar at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and a fellow at the Alicia Patterson Foundation.Previously, Davenport was an editor on the Washington Post's Metro desk, and he has also worked at Newsday, the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Austin American-Statesman. and is the author of two books.
