RATING
Incredibly well researched and great presentation. The music and sound quality are also excellent.
I don’t have another word to describe this podcast other than riveting. It has kept me engaged episode after episode. You can tell that the host really wants to do right by Kristin. Highly recommend.
Such odd timing, I discovered and binged this podcast right before the case came into the public eye again. Was a surreal experience listening to it all and then getting to find out the results at long last less then a day after I finished the show. Glad at long last this mystery can be closed. Great podcast.
I had never heard of this case until I found this podcast. This podcast covers the story so well, with great details and interviews. He is straight to the point and doesn't drag anything out or get side tracked like some hosts do.
An impressive podcast. Just a regular guy who got immersed in an unsolved case. Very nicely done overall, and super-thorough without being repetitive.
Such a well done podcast. Recent developments in the case warrant a re listen!
By far the greatest true crime podcast ever created. I don't know what 2nd place is, but it's not even close.
listen now! incredible podcast
One of the better ones for the genre. I had never heard the case, and it was appalling and incredibly frustrating. I'm happy the host decided to pick up the story so that it could gain traction and it seemed to actually have an effect. The host is also very charming and seems to really care about Kristin Smart. I also appreciated how he gave voice to others who were harmed by the vile man and perpetrator of the crime.
Compelling and heartbreaking without sentimentality. Excellent research from a brave podcaster. I could not stop listening even though I would find myself shaking with rage at the parents of Paul Flores.
I thought Ep 1 was slow, but I thought the rest was excellent. Always left me ready to listen to the next episode. Great reporting, really good research, and makes you wonder what happened 25 years ago.
By far the best podcast I’ve listened to! Thoroughly investigated without it being boring and easily the best host!
I discovered this show in 2019 after Cal Poly alumni were sharing it on social media. As an alumnus myself, I wanted to know more about Kristen Smart and what happened when she went missing on campus in 1996, a decade before I was there. Chris Lambert does an excellent job of helping you visualize what San Luis Obispo was like back then and he takes you along the timeline hour by hour of Kristen’s disappearance. A must-listen!
Please listen to this. Amazing!
Such a good podcast!
A really well made, limited series. The case is fascinating and the research is thorough. I like Chris Lambert's rendering of the research process.
Enjoyed the original series. But come on dude, you're pointing the finger at a guy and don't want to be held accountable? Hiding behind some media law, too bad real detectives don't have that convenience...
Great to hear this podcast has helped in the investigation.
Coming to a 'satisfying' (as much as any murder trial can) conclusion
