When I first came across this show, the premise alone made me laugh. I had imagined and hoped it would sound like: "OK, where is he? .... Is that him? No, hmm. .... Sure are a lot of folks wearing red and white here. .... Is that him? ...."Well, that is exactly what it's like, at least to start. The narrator quickly begins filling the silence between commentary with anecdotes about his own life. These self reflections are almost uniformly unflattering and very funny (if you like your humor dry). The creator seems humbled by the size of his audience, but it's well deserved. The concept is clever, the music is pleasant, the episodes are brief, and I've shared laughs with loved ones over each release.
