I enjoyed the trailer as it was played at the end of another show, but I wasn't really sure I was going to actually enjoy The Carlötta Beautox Chronicles heading into it. Holy crap, guys.Ann Sloan is very clever with her writing. It's a little nonsensical at times, but the way each of the first two seasons built up to their respective finales were highly enjoyable. I completely forgot my apprehension during season 1 and was glad to be able to binge season 2. I'm kind of savoring that I get to enjoy season 3 as it's released.I don't relate at all with Carlötta's hopes and dreams, but I relate with the fear of losing what she's worked for. Her internal monologue actually speaks to fears we all have, and they give the character depth I feared she wouldn't have as I downloaded the first episodes. Dave makes for some pretty good comedic relief, and seeing some character progression with him was refreshing.The sound engineering and voice acting is spot-on! Sloan weaves sound effects in such a way they build the immersion, not distract from it. Samantha Gordon absolutely killed it in her role! I was pleasantly surprised by her in the musical episode, and I'm hoping to see Carlötta sing a little more in season 3.Overall, Ann Sloan is absolutely rocking it with this show. If someone like me can stay interested, anyone can enjoy.

Surprisingly witty and incredibly entertaining!I often have trouble with comedy in general. My sense of humor can be difficult to target and I grow bored of redundant punch lines quickly. Much of what I find funny involves surprising me so I don't see it coming at all. This podcast had me laughing out loud virtually every episode at it's witty and cheeky parody of celebrity fandom and lifestyle and by the 4th episode I was totally hooked.

Honestly, I started listening and didn't expect to become hooked. This show is HILARIOUS. The writing is incredible and it's very well produced. Yes, you should listen to this now.

This show is THE Hollywood screwball satire I needed in my life. Carlötta Beautox tells the story of wannabe actress Kitty Kinicki (stage name Carlötta--because it sounds Old European--Beautox--because it sounds French)--though, along with actress, she considers herself also a “think-tress,” an “influencer-ess” and Khloe Kardashian’s biggest fan. (Also a Virgo, Leo rising.) The show is an old school screwball Hollywood farce with the cutting sensibilities of a modern dark satire and laugh-out-loud shenanigans. It walks the line so well of having a main character that isn’t exactly a good person, but is so fun to be around she never puts you off--the writing and performances are buoyant and bright and calibrated to perfection. Things escalate so quickly to absurd heights but never come out of nowhere, the the twists and turns of the plot unfold like genius comedic clockwork--the way the season one finale pays off everything that comes before is an amazing commentary on our social media/influencer culture, but ALSO just a hilarious follow-through on so many running jokes and themes. And also? There’s a musical episode, and it BOPS.

This is essential listening for anyone who likes to laugh.

I found this show on Twitter one day when they dropped a trailer on me. I was not prepared for the awesome that would become it's first season. From Helen, Wasbi, Alpacs, to Khloe this show was a wild and crazy ride. It is Hollywood turned over, shaken, roasted, and bottom line funny as all hell. You need this show in your ears trust me.

Super funny and inventive comedy podcast. I'm not usually a fan of "stupid" characters, but this is written in such a witty way that it totally makes up for it.

The more I listened to it repeatedly, the better it gets. It's chuckle worthy even though it only has a few main characters and I'm not a fan of Schadenfreude shows whose characters don't really deserve the misfortune they are given because they're dumb (however the latest season turned out great for our naïve heroine) but I get it is a cautionary tale. It's wrongly labeled as a TV show on IMDB but damn it I wish this was a TV show. It sounds so fun on audio and it would be a blast if this was a live action project. Plus, Trevor Lissauer, the hottie Miles on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, voices the deuteragonist. I also, really find Lottie's voice hilariously perky, actually I like all of their voices.

This show manages to out-Hollywood Hollywood! Carlotta is a fascinating character who is smart, funny, and over the top! I just adore the show and everything about it! Please be the first Broadway Musical based off a podcast. Please!

This podcast is so funny and silly. The main character is just clueless enough to keep us loving her despite the cruel world of Hollywood she's trying to take on. Her manager is also frikken great. The writing is funny, the acting is awesome. It's just a fun trip. I highly recommend. It's silly. :)

I love this podcast. It's witty and enjoyable, but also, I can tell the crew behind it took a great deal of care in every detail. It feels like a fun gift to the audience and a love letter to radio shows.

The writing of this show is brilliant, the direction and sound design amazingly done. The daffy celeb-obsessed Carlötta only dreams of making it big in Hollywood, and is treated to having her dreams come tragically true in Tinseltown. This pod pokes fun at LA's insane culture and thirst for influence and drama while also peppering in unparalleled silly names and delightful misunderstandings. A binge-worthy adventure.

Hilarious writing and vocal delivery! It had me laughing within the first couple minutes and hasn't let me go. It's getting a lot of praise lately, and it's easy to see why! Don't miss out.

Very zany, but the main character is also really dumb, so not good for me.

Oh, how I love Carlotta and her larger than life opinion of her chances in the smaller than film world of the Hollywood meat grinder. This girl makes more painful missteps than the boy you danced with in middle-school - and I love her for it. Thanks to Carlotta, I have stars in my eyes!

Carlotta is a character. Really! Super funny. But I'm going to die of second embarrassment one of these days
