The 20 Sided Stories cast are in this, so that practically GUARANTEES EXCELLENCE.Can't wait, WE ARE EXCITED.
Best gamdam podcast an earthling ever saw
Maintaining such a wacky, carefree tone with heaving sides of humor may seem easy, but it really isn't. And yet MMB makes it seem easy. Just a pure delight, through and through. It makes you feel good listening to it, which is perfect because as a charity event, you feel even better helping out for the cause. I'm so happy this exists.
Absolutely loved the idea, but as of now the brilliant intro music is the best part of the podcast. I really hope to return some months later and rate it higher.
This show had me busting a gut. Also that theme song has been stuck in my head for months. I LOVE IT. Hilarious, well-written, brilliantly produced, and for a great cause. It is, in fact, the best brisket.
Mars' Best Brisket caught my attention with the fundraiser for The Loving Spoonful (MA); pulled me in with the catchy theme song; and met my expectations in terms of characters & storyline. Perfectly paired with my love of food (and American BBQ Showdown//Chef's Table BBQ), Mars' Best is silly, heartwarming, and hunger-inducing. Wish we could hear more from these characters & delve deeper into their world.
I heard the trailer for Mars' Best Brisket on another show as I drove to work one day, a month or so before the release. Then the trailer was at the end of EVERY EPISODE. The theme song cemented itself in my brain right between the 877 CASH NOW jingle and the Folger's jingle. I even gave birth to my son about two weeks before the premiere, and I've sang the theme to him every time he gets fussy since the day he was born. So, of course, I had to check out the show.I wish more episodes were on the way! The voice acting is pretty good. I enjoyed the "Texan" accents, being from Texas myself. And the robot? I figured it was Text-to-Speech software until the credits. Bravo. Each episode is its own self-contained story, which works well for this premise (and leaves the future open for more content). The writing is enjoyable, the jokes made me chuckle, and eating salad with brisket is still a crime.I'm not anticipating more MBB, but I hope Ponders revisits this later. I'll be checking out some of their other work.
