Green Mountain Mysteries is a wonderful show that accurately captures the supernatural aspects of a world hiding right in front of our eyes.As a neophyte to Dresden and the Fate system, I was nervous about listening in and getting lost in references I wouldn't know. My fears were quelled almost instantly. Michael as the overseer of the story does a fantastic job in making sure the listeners understand rules as they come up, explaining them simply and effectively. The cast/party themselves are absolutely amazing. The characters of Albion, Ro, Desdemona and Sylvester all have their moments to shine and are played with utter aplomb. You can tell the players are well versed in each other's mannerisms and styles. There are few pauses or gaps, and the interaction between them hits a fine balance of knowing when a moment of levity is needed and when it is time to buckle down and advance the story. The story itself is engrossing from the first episode, and as the world opens up bit by bit, the scope of the story expands exponentially.I would highly recommend Green Mountain Mysteries to anyone wanting a supernatural podcast. Every bit of the show is high quality, and I think you'll have a great time listening!
