Welcome to Ghost of a Podcast. I'm

0:03

your host, Jessica Lignato. I'm an astrologer,

0:05

psychic medium, and animal communicator, and I'm

0:08

going to give you your weekly horoscope

0:10

and no bullshit mystical advice for living

0:12

your very best life. Welcome

0:16

back. It's nothing but another week in Paradise,

0:18

am I right? We're going to look at

0:20

the astrology for the week of April 28th

0:22

through May 4th

0:24

of 2024. There's

0:27

a lot happening inexactitude astrologically this

0:29

week. I have to

0:31

just acknowledge that the energy, I

0:34

mean, can you feel the

0:36

energy in this world? There

0:39

is such intense energy at

0:41

play between the conjunction of

0:44

Jupiter and Uranus and Taurus

0:46

with its revolutionary humanitarian spark

0:48

that has been lit worldwide.

0:52

And the ongoing transit of Pluto

0:54

and Aquarius, we are

0:57

seeing movements, many which are

0:59

youth-led, but just movements of

1:01

people gaining impassion, gaining attraction,

1:03

gaining an impact. And

1:06

along with that rebellious and

1:08

revolutionary energy comes

1:10

power struggles, right? Pluto is involved.

1:12

We are absolutely seeing people

1:15

fight the empire and the

1:17

empire striking back. For

1:19

long-time listeners of the podcast, you know

1:22

that for a couple

1:24

of years there, I was obsessively talking

1:26

about journalists and how we need to

1:29

protect journalists. And I was talking about

1:31

infrastructure and how our infrastructure needed to

1:33

change. Well, so much

1:35

of what we did or

1:38

didn't do as societies, as

1:40

a collective, is

1:42

coming to bear now and will continue to

1:44

come to bear over the next several years.

1:47

This is a particularly

1:51

important time and

1:53

for all people of conscience.

1:56

And I suspect most of you here are people

1:58

of conscience, even if we don't. don't all agree

2:00

on all the things. This

2:02

is an exceptionally important time. We

2:05

must find ways of engaging

2:07

with our individual activation, with

2:10

the ways in which we are

2:12

triggered by shit that's happening in

2:14

the world, shit that's happening in

2:16

our heads, in our relationships, whatever

2:18

it is. And that

2:20

includes our thoughts, our emotions,

2:22

and our survival mechanisms. And

2:25

to engage with our activation

2:28

in sustainable ways, in ways that

2:30

help us to both

2:33

strive in real time

2:35

to advance justice, freedom,

2:38

empathy, kindness, inaction,

2:40

but also to navigate

2:42

our own internal lives and our

2:44

own personal lives. Because my loves,

2:47

motivating yourself by fear

2:50

and rage and defensiveness, not only

2:52

is it bad for your spirit,

2:55

but that's a strategy that only

2:57

works when you're trying to sprint,

2:59

when you're trying to really

3:02

just do something fast and furious.

3:05

But we are engaged in a

3:07

marathon, a marathon

3:09

for human rights. And

3:12

I am, of course, very much

3:14

speaking about the struggle for a

3:16

free Palestine. But I'm talking about

3:19

other things as well. There are

3:21

so many things to be concerned

3:23

about that are happening within our

3:26

government, within the environment, within global

3:29

politics, et cetera. There's

3:31

so much happening. And that's saying

3:33

nothing of the fact that we

3:35

all have lives. Many of us

3:37

have trauma histories and health

3:40

problems and bills to pay and life.

3:43

You have so much to do for life. So

3:45

here's the thing. Motivating yourself, as

3:47

I said, to rage and fear is a

3:49

good way to burn yourself out. It's

3:52

a good way to feel like shit. Even

3:55

if it works for the short term, to

3:57

help propel you to fight the

3:59

good fight. or get things done.

4:02

It's not it. I

4:05

want to invite you to treat

4:08

yourself in more humane ways, to

4:11

find ways of centering your

4:14

humanity, centering empathy for

4:16

yourself, for people you don't

4:18

agree with, you don't understand, and

4:20

for people who you have an

4:22

easy time having empathy for, for

4:24

all people, for all circumstances. Because

4:27

motivating yourself through love,

4:30

cultivating a worldview that is

4:33

powered by

4:35

empathy, that's sustainable.

4:39

Not only is it sustainable,

4:41

it's powerful, and power doesn't

4:44

have to be some fucked up thing

4:46

that harms people. Power

4:49

can be a healing force.

4:52

So I want to

4:54

invite you this week and every

4:56

damn week to find ways

4:58

of centering love

5:01

and empathy in your motivations.

5:03

Whether you're dealing with family

5:06

shit, you're dealing with navigating

5:08

work stuff, or you are learning

5:12

about what's happening in the world and trying

5:14

to find ways to make the world better.

5:17

The astrology of this time is meant

5:19

to be revolutionary. It's meant

5:22

to not be stable. And

5:25

within that is so much

5:27

room for growth, room for

5:29

fertility, and yet not all

5:31

change is equal, right? Not

5:34

all growth is equal. I

5:36

want to encourage you to

5:38

return to your motivation, to

5:41

check in with your motivations,

5:43

because even our kind of

5:45

kindness and best motivations can

5:47

get corrupted. And so checking

5:49

in with yourself is

5:51

not a way of pointing yourself away from

5:53

the things that are important to you, but

5:55

instead a way to support

5:59

your system. so that

6:01

you can sustain the efforts needed

6:03

to navigate your life, whatever

6:05

that means, right? Wherever you're at

6:07

and whatever that means. Now

6:10

I want to touch on the first

6:12

exact transit of this week. I

6:14

touched on it last week, but let's get

6:17

into it right now. So on Sunday, April

6:19

28th at 9.31 p.m. Pacific time, we've got

6:24

a Mars-Neptune conjunction at that anoretic degree

6:26

of Pisces. It's 28 degrees and 52

6:29

minutes. We could round

6:31

it up to 29 if you like. Now,

6:34

Mars-Conjunct Neptune is

6:37

a lot. We've

6:39

been feeling this transit building for quite

6:41

some time, and the

6:44

way it feels is demoralizing. You

6:47

know, you may be feeling

6:49

like physically exhausted, psychologically exhausted.

6:52

This transit, it kind

6:54

of makes you feel like there's holes in your

6:56

bucket and you're just, you're just, you know, walking

6:59

around town with a bucket full of water and

7:01

you just keep on losing the water

7:03

through the holes in the bucket. You know it's a

7:05

Sesame Street thing. Maybe only Gen

7:07

X knows. Anyways, it's exhausting.

7:10

Mars is our

7:12

ambitions and our motivations. It's

7:14

sex and sex drive. It's

7:17

competitiveness. And it's the body.

7:20

Neptune is spirit. It's the

7:23

way in which we are all connected. It is

7:26

the ether. It is high

7:28

spirituality. It's also anxiety and disassociation.

7:30

And because of this, when these

7:32

two planets sit on top of

7:34

each other, we can feel pretty

7:37

damn disassociated. We can feel burnt

7:39

out, exhausted, like we

7:41

can't quite get

7:43

enough energy to mobilize.

7:46

This is not a particularly good

7:48

time for advancing individualistic aims. Mars

7:51

is, you know, all about like what I want.

7:54

And Neptune is how we are all

7:56

interconnected. And when something is done for

7:58

self-doubt, we can feel that. Involved.

8:01

Motivations: It. Doesn't

8:03

work. Not. Under a Mars conjunctions inept

8:05

him. This transit can find

8:08

you live in a hard time

8:10

staying grounded in our shared reality

8:12

and so you may be idealizing

8:14

situations or people on. The.

8:16

Flipside of idealizing people and situations is

8:18

imagining that you are much much worse

8:21

than them. Or you are much much

8:23

better than them. That they are much

8:25

much worse than you. Or they are

8:27

much much better than you when we

8:30

please people on Pad A souls, you

8:32

know it's easy for them to fall

8:34

and. We. Are engaged in a

8:36

kind of thinking that basically kind of

8:38

need one person to be worse than

8:40

the other. So. Sometimes it's you, sometimes

8:42

it's the other guy. The potential

8:45

of this transit is that

8:47

you infuse your goals and

8:49

motivations with meaning. Like. Real

8:51

spiritual meaning. So it's the stuff.

8:54

I was just talking. It's embassy.

8:56

It's consideration. It's humanitarian, right? It's

8:59

caring about others, not just through

9:01

thoughts and prayers, but through your

9:03

fucking actions. Mars could jump Neptune.

9:07

This transit absolutely can play out in

9:09

a kind of like romantic way where

9:11

you idealized you know a potential sexual

9:14

partner, sexual partner that you have. If

9:16

you are having sex make sure that

9:18

safer sex because one of the things

9:21

that are Mars can jump since and

9:23

Neptune can do is kind of incline

9:25

you to take unnecessary risks with your

9:27

physical and emotional health but especially your

9:30

physical health right? So that baggage you

9:32

know, whatever, whatever works for the kind

9:34

of sucks you have this transit. If

9:37

you find yourself like. Catching. Feelings for

9:39

somebody? You wait wait a week before

9:41

you really make any decisions because you're

9:44

unlikely to be seen. That person's particularly

9:46

clearly. The. Thing to know

9:48

about a Mars conjunction to Neptune

9:50

is that it's an opportunity. To

9:52

bring more spiritual meaning, steer goals

9:55

and ambitions. Or. To

9:57

bolster your sense of self.

10:00

The vitality rated to take material actions

10:02

to bolster your vitality. That's why last

10:04

week I was talking to you about

10:06

doing a simple things you know you

10:08

need to do to take care of

10:10

your body like drinking water or like

10:13

you know the in sleeping or eating

10:15

foods that you know nourish you Because

10:17

these two planets are influencing each other

10:19

in such a way that we can

10:21

make real progress to deal with Bernau.

10:24

To. Align our actions with greater

10:26

meaning. For. A a Mars

10:28

conjunction to Neptune. Like every

10:30

conjunction is the planting at

10:32

a seat. It's the beginnings

10:34

of a new phase of

10:36

development and so we can

10:38

make this phase of development

10:40

be idealistic. A little disassociate

10:42

is infused with defense of

10:44

this and paranoia. Easy. But

10:46

the best case scenario is

10:49

that it is infused with

10:51

meaning with humanitarian care and

10:53

concern, and that these energies

10:55

are approached in a way.

10:57

That brings about sustainability. Right

10:59

now, there's nothing about. Neptune,

11:02

Mars or Pisces that

11:05

is inherently sustainable energy,

11:07

but. There is something

11:09

about how we choose to engage

11:11

with energy and in this case

11:13

was illness. I see an energy

11:15

So how we choose to engage

11:18

with our spiritual energy with our

11:20

our deep in our most motivations

11:22

and feelings and and convictions. If

11:25

you can find a way. To.

11:28

Motivate. Yourself to regenerative impulses

11:31

instead of those impulses that

11:33

rob you of your vitality,

11:35

rob you of your humanity,

11:37

Rob you of your energy.

11:39

Then. Then. You have

11:41

created a lovable sustainability that

11:44

just can't builds on itself.

11:46

One more thing I want to say about

11:49

this transit is in reference to it's influence

11:51

more collectively. On. A collective level.

11:53

This transit. can signify to sell

11:56

whole bunch of people feel real fucking

11:58

birth at all at once conversely,

12:00

it could just as

12:02

easily or simultaneously signify

12:05

that groups of people

12:08

feel motivated by

12:10

deeply spiritual beliefs

12:12

and convictions, right? So

12:14

this can be a humanitarian push

12:17

that is, you know, not per

12:19

se religious. But when

12:21

it comes to Neptune, it's often people

12:23

who are kind of like have a

12:25

religious zealotry being motivated

12:27

to defend their beliefs and

12:30

the worldview that they want

12:32

to cultivate. And so

12:34

we have been and are likely to continue

12:36

to see all of that, the good, the

12:38

bad, the ugly, all of it. We

12:40

don't want to forget that Mars governs policing. And

12:44

already in the last week

12:46

leading up to exactitude, we

12:48

have seen across the United

12:50

States cops being called in

12:52

to universities and beating on

12:54

students and teachers, unprovoked.

12:58

But it's not really unprovoked, is

13:00

it? The provocation is

13:03

groups of people coming

13:05

together to demand that the

13:07

system, that the empire change and change

13:10

in ways that is not profitable to

13:12

the system, but instead just

13:15

and centering humanitarian aims. And

13:17

that's a threat to a system

13:20

that thrives when people

13:22

are locked up, when people are divisive

13:24

and fighting each other instead

13:26

of it. So this

13:29

transit is a really good reminder to

13:31

never forget who your enemy really is. Your

13:34

allies, they don't have to agree

13:36

with you on everything, right? Your allies,

13:39

they're not your besties, but your enemy

13:41

would harm you. And then

13:43

he turned just for standing in the wrong place at the

13:45

wrong time. I mean. For

13:48

collective movements to succeed, we

13:50

must watch our infighting, which

13:53

really requires watching

13:55

our own psychological and emotional

13:57

and spiritual welfare so

13:59

that we... don't misplace our anger

14:01

and our fear away

14:04

from where it really deserves to be. Right?

14:07

We just pointed out the systems that we're

14:09

fighting against. Okay, let's

14:12

go to the next exact

14:14

transit. It's happening on April

14:16

30th at 9.30 p.m. exactly,

14:20

that's Pacific time. We have a

14:22

Venus square to Pluto. This is

14:24

happening at two degrees in six

14:26

minutes with Venus and Taurus and

14:28

Pluto in Aquarius. Venus

14:31

squared Pluto is a very fucking intense

14:33

transit. Earlier this day, like

14:35

12 hours earlier on the same day,

14:37

Mars moves into Aries, right? But we

14:40

are still very much feeling the Mars

14:42

conjunction to Neptune. And now we've got

14:44

this Venus Pluto squared. Now we were

14:47

already feeling the Venus Pluto square to

14:50

be clear, but now it's exact.

14:52

And so separate from everything else,

14:54

we have two very challenging transits

14:57

to Mars and Venus, which

14:59

are two very relational planets, right?

15:02

So we know that friends, the

15:04

people you're dating, people

15:06

you share community with, any kind of

15:08

like social or romantic connections that you

15:10

have are likely to be

15:12

more tense, more intense. There

15:15

is a risk of drama. Now

15:18

I'm not against drama. Not all

15:20

drama is bad. Sometimes drama is

15:22

exactly what we need. But again,

15:24

I want to remind you to

15:26

pick your battles wisely and

15:28

track your own internal

15:30

workings so you don't get defensive

15:33

or start shit with people when

15:35

you don't need to, when it's

15:37

not appropriate or helpful. We

15:42

have a lot to grieve. We

15:44

live in a culture that suppresses

15:46

our ability to truly feel our

15:49

grief deeply, safely, and on our

15:51

own terms. But each person's experience

15:53

is as unique as the grief

15:55

itself. Camille Separa Barton's

15:57

new book, Tending Grief,

16:00

is an embodied guide to being

16:02

with grief. We live in this

16:04

culture that perpetrates death, destruction, and

16:07

unease, even as it

16:09

suppresses our ability to really

16:11

acknowledge or feel into our

16:13

losses. This book is

16:16

written to help readers, and especially

16:18

queer and BIPOC readers, move through

16:20

their unique constellations of grief, both

16:23

individually and in community. Grounded

16:26

in respect, care, and intention,

16:28

this book offers practical exercises,

16:31

decolonized rituals, and earth-based medicines

16:33

to help us metabolize and

16:36

heal from loss. We've

16:38

17:16

17:28

I have really been enjoying their eye

18:00

time budgeting all of your expenses or

18:02

tracking down customer service terms to cancel

18:07

time sink, but Rocket Money can do

18:09

all of that for you. Rocket

Money is a personal finance app that

18:13

finds and cancels your unwanted subscriptions, monitors

18:16

your spending, and helps lower your bills

18:18

18:21

love that it sends alerts to let me

know both when I got paid but also

18:26

when I have upcoming bills. It's a great

18:28

way to increase awareness around both spending and

18:33

between the two. Rocket Money

support her young autistic son, Simone vowed

20:05

Godmother Official. So.

20:10

Let's talk about this Venus

20:12

Square to Pluto. Know of

20:14

course Venus is the planet

20:16

that governs or our values.

20:19

It's a planet that motivated

20:21

by diplomacy and security and

20:23

stability. Him Venus wants to

20:25

get along and Pluto likes

20:28

to tear says up. Pluto

20:30

wants to transform and he'll

20:32

it once. intensity. It motivates

20:34

us to become pulses and

20:36

get sick. Say dead ends

20:39

can often find. Us in

20:41

our survival mechanisms. So.

20:44

When been a squares pluto

20:46

what happens is at things

20:49

get intense inter personally and

20:51

this is because. Power.

20:53

Struggles? Come on. Know. Those.

20:56

Power struggles made be the power struggles

20:58

that you're experiencing inside of you as

21:00

you reflect on some shit that happens

21:02

in your past. And for been last

21:04

week, it could have been fifteen years

21:07

ago. You may

21:09

be really just struggling with yourself,

21:11

right? Because pluto governs our survival

21:13

mechanism. When pluto gets activated in

21:15

your birth, harder, in your psyche,

21:17

it's hard to really be aware

21:20

of it. And it's not hard

21:22

because it's subtle Because pluto is

21:24

the opposite of subtle. But

21:26

it's hard because. Our.

21:28

Individual survival mechanisms feel like they

21:31

are necessary for our survival. So

21:33

when your survival mechanisms are activated,

21:35

you are likely to felix. The

21:37

way you feel, the way you're

21:39

thinking is the only way to

21:42

feel. And it's the only way

21:44

to think because your survival depends

21:46

on it. That's. A Survival

21:48

Mechanisms works. I guess this is a good

21:50

time to remind you that I'm teaching a

21:53

class on Pluto and you can register for

21:55

it's at this moment, there are still reduced

21:57

price tickets available. It's happening. On me.

22:00

For and eleven Am Pacific Time. It's

22:02

a live webinar but if you cannot

22:04

make it's live it's fine because I

22:06

always at Sundown the recording to everyone

22:08

who has registered within seventy two hours.

22:11

We are going to go as deep

22:13

as we can in the time allowed

22:15

into Pluto in the birth chart and

22:17

by transit. This is a class that

22:19

I have been planning on teaching for

22:22

quite some time, but thanks to my

22:24

beloved patrons who voted on me teaching

22:26

the class at this time, I'm really

22:28

excited about this one and. I hope

22:31

you will join me. The link to

22:33

register for this class is on the

22:35

show notes to this episodes and also

22:38

are always on my website and in

22:40

my link tree on social media. I

22:42

have that crests Let's come back into

22:45

the stresses of S. Venus Square, Pluto

22:47

and or survival mechanisms. This.

22:49

Transit is going to revealed

22:51

something of you to you.

22:54

And it will be very easy for

22:56

you to feel like is revealing something

22:58

of other people to you. And

23:01

and that's likely to be true as well that

23:03

the thing to focus on is your on them.

23:06

And this is something else I

23:08

was talking about on teacher and

23:10

just a couple days ago. Astrology

23:13

Sucking. Fascinating right? And we we

23:15

can all agree. Astrology Assassinating. And

23:17

it is really really interesting to.

23:19

Look. At other people's births hurts. To

23:22

understand them and to better contextualize and

23:24

understand our relationships with them. And many

23:27

of you were gonna wanna do that

23:29

this week because of the transit That

23:31

play but. It. Is Healing.

23:34

To. Look at your own birth turn. To

23:37

focus on your own impulses,

23:39

Your. Own compulsions, your own behaviors,

23:42

your own choices, your own

23:44

motivations, your own history as

23:46

is written in the to

23:48

Her the more that you

23:50

are willing and able. To

23:52

own. Your. Part

23:54

to understand your patterns.

23:57

And. what motivates them that's where the

23:59

healing occur And when a transit

24:01

like Venus Square to Pluto happens, we

24:04

have the opportunity to engage with

24:06

our kind of ugliest impulses that

24:08

generally come out of our survival

24:10

mechanisms and engage with them in a different way,

24:13

make different choices. And this is where

24:15

I remind you that progress is

24:17

progress is progress. And of course, we

24:19

all want big meteoroid progress in all

24:22

of our shit all the time. But

24:24

that's not realistic. Even if

24:26

you make a teeny tiny little bit of progress in

24:29

how you engage with your

24:31

survival mechanisms, I want to

24:33

salute you because progress is progress. Now,

24:36

a Venus Square to Pluto transit can

24:38

kick up your desire to be loved,

24:41

your desire to get attention

24:43

or validation. And kind

24:46

of connected to that, it can

24:48

kick up jealousy and

24:50

fixations on people, possessiveness,

24:52

manipulation, all that kind

24:54

of heavy Plutonian stuff.

24:58

This transit, especially if it hits

25:00

your birth chart directly, so if

25:02

you've anything at around two degrees

25:04

of a fixed sign, which fixed

25:06

signs are Aquarius, Taurus, Scorpio, and

25:08

Leo, then you're likely to have

25:10

power struggles, right? You're likely to

25:13

have power struggles. But again, I want to

25:15

encourage you to ask yourself, what is it that you're

25:17

really struggling over? What is it

25:19

that you're struggling for? What is

25:21

it that you're struggling against? Understanding

25:24

your own motivations can help you

25:26

to clarify your own choices, your

25:29

own behavior. Sometimes the

25:31

most powerful thing you can do

25:33

when engaging with a difficult relationship

25:36

dynamic is to stop. It's

25:39

just not to engage. Sometimes

25:41

the most powerful thing you can do is

25:44

to engage with greater self-awareness and greater intention.

25:46

But I will remind you of something that I've probably said

25:48

a bunch of times on the podcast. Don't

25:51

process with people you don't trust. No

25:54

point in it. If you don't trust a

25:56

person, do not open

25:58

up your vulnerability. and

26:00

share it with them and process. If

26:03

you determine on or around this transit

26:05

that you don't trust someone, then it's

26:07

on you to determine what your boundaries

26:09

need to be. Not what

26:11

you do with the relationship. That can kind

26:13

of come. Relationships are collaborative. But

26:16

what your boundaries are, that's all on

26:18

you. It's on you to identify. It's

26:20

on you to embody. And

26:22

it's on you to protect. And when other

26:24

people don't respect your boundaries, that's

26:27

really good information for you to have about them.

26:29

And with that information, you

26:32

can develop better boundaries, right?

26:34

Venus Square to Pluto will often

26:36

have people feeling dire and

26:39

dramatic. And again, it's how we

26:41

hold and respond to these emotions

26:43

and these impulses. That

26:45

is kind of like deciding factor of whether or not this

26:47

is healing or

26:50

destructive. So my advice

26:52

to you is to not go straight

26:54

to confrontation with other people and with

26:56

situations. First, sit

26:58

honestly with your own

27:01

thoughts and feelings, even though it's confronting

27:03

to do so, right? To really be

27:05

honest with yourself about how you feel

27:07

the messiness of how you

27:10

feel. But that is where your

27:13

truth lives. And when we're willing

27:15

and able to sit with our truth, that's

27:18

where our agency becomes

27:20

more accessible, right? Like your ability

27:22

to make choices, to even recognize

27:24

what your choices are. It

27:27

really requires being here now. And

27:30

so much of the time when we're in

27:32

our survival mechanisms, we're not here now. We're

27:35

in all the other times this thing happened. We're

27:38

in our core wounding of when it happened,

27:40

you know, in our childhood. In

27:42

other words, we're in the past, right?

27:45

And we are applying all of our shit from

27:47

the past onto the present or

27:49

onto our fears of the future. And

27:51

so again, practicing being here

27:53

in the mess with your

27:55

feelings, no matter how intense they are, to understand

27:59

yourself. so that you can make

28:01

the best possible choices. That's a

28:03

real good strategy for navigating this transit.

28:05

And for navigating Pluto in general, a

28:08

Venus square to Pluto transit can coincide

28:11

with an abandonment. And nobody wants

28:13

to be abandoned. I mean, it's a heartbreaking

28:15

feeling. But at

28:18

the very least, what you can make

28:20

sure is that you don't abandon you

28:23

in your time of need. You

28:25

don't abandon you because you have judgments about the ways

28:27

in which you feel. Also,

28:30

you can commit to

28:33

not behaving in ways that

28:35

are abusive, cruel, or

28:37

punishing towards others. Right?

28:41

And that includes people online, just

28:43

for the record. What

28:45

we do on the internet is what

28:47

we do. And it's

28:50

really important to be owning

28:52

our own behavior because this

28:54

week in general, and certainly on and

28:56

around this date, I'm guessing there's going to be a

28:58

lot of trolls on the internet because a lot

29:01

of people do not know how to stay

29:03

present in a healthy way with toxic emotions.

29:05

And so what do we do with our

29:07

toxic emotions? We throw them at other people.

29:09

And it's particularly easy to do that when

29:11

you're anonymous and they can't talk back. Instead

29:14

of picking fights with others, tend

29:17

to your emotions. The energetics

29:19

of this astrology of this transit,

29:21

but in particular of this transit

29:23

and how it overlaps with the

29:25

Mars-Neptune conjunction has within it so

29:27

much potential for healing, so

29:29

much potential for healing. But

29:33

it's not easy energy. And that shouldn't

29:35

surprise you because we're not an easy

29:37

time. But if you're willing

29:39

to do the work, if you try, you

29:42

are likely to make progress. Probably

29:45

you won't be perfect. Probably

29:47

your life won't be perfect magically just because

29:49

you tried. But that's not what we're going

29:51

for. What we're going for is progress, right?

29:54

Progress is progress is

29:56

progress. So that brings

29:58

us to May 2. So

30:00

I don't talk about retrograde of

30:03

outer planets very often because the

30:05

retrograde half the goddamn year. And

30:07

for me, I don't personally tend

30:09

to notice anything too major about it

30:11

other than the fact that when a

30:14

planet retrogrades, it can reignite an important

30:16

transit, right? So there's that. But

30:18

the retrograde on its own for outer planets, generally

30:20

speaking for me, is not a big deal. On

30:24

May 2nd, 1047 a.m. Pacific

30:27

time, we have Pluto at two

30:29

degrees and six minutes of Aquarius

30:32

start its retrograde motion. And

30:34

this is fucking newsworthy. May

30:37

2nd, it retrogrades and

30:39

at the start of September, it's back in

30:41

Capricorn just in time for the

30:43

American election. And this,

30:46

my dears, is fucking terrible

30:48

news. It's something I talked about in

30:50

the year ahead forecast. And honestly,

30:52

the astrology of the American

30:54

election upcoming is

30:58

so bad that it is something

31:00

I will talk about later. I want to

31:02

acknowledge the fresh and

31:04

revolutionary energy. So I say fresh

31:06

because it's still new having Pluto

31:08

in Aquarius. This is

31:11

retrograding. It's moving back into

31:13

Capricorn. And so my instinct

31:15

here is that we are going to have

31:17

more of a fever pitch of this experience

31:19

of Pluto in Aquarius as it moves back

31:21

into Capricorn. So this is

31:24

something we'll talk about more, but it

31:26

felt worth a solid mention, right?

31:29

Okay. And that brings us to

31:31

the last exact transit of this week. On

31:34

Friday, May 3rd, we have got a Mars

31:36

sex cell to Pluto. Mars is at two

31:38

degrees and six minutes of Aries. And Pluto

31:41

is at the same degrees of Aquarius. This

31:43

is a fucking lovely transit. And I'm really

31:45

happy to tell you something

31:47

positive. It's nice. It's real

31:49

nice. Mars' sex cell

31:51

to Pluto is like the antithesis of

31:54

Mars' conjunction to Neptune. Mars'

31:56

conjunction to Neptune derains

31:58

and demoralizes. Mars,

32:01

sextal to Pluto, fortifies

32:03

and enlivens. This

32:05

transit can really give you a boost,

32:08

especially if it's hitting your chart directly

32:10

and extra especially if you have something

32:12

at around two degrees of an air

32:14

sign or a fire sign.

32:16

So of course the air signs are

32:19

Aquarius, Libra and Gemini and we've got

32:21

fire which is Leo, Saj and Aries.

32:24

This transit gives us

32:26

a boost. It makes you feel

32:28

motivated deep, deep in your belly

32:31

kind of motivated. This

32:33

transit does not give you stamina, right?

32:35

It's like fire and air. It's

32:37

Mars and Pluto but it does give

32:39

you a solid push of motivation to

32:41

make a change or get something done

32:43

or just to be motivated to like

32:46

leave the house today, right? It depends

32:48

on where you're at. If there's something

32:50

in your life that takes bravery, right?

32:53

That needs a little zhuzh. Try

32:56

to do it on or around this date.

32:58

Mars, sextal to Pluto gives you that zhuzh.

33:00

It gives you that boost. It's

33:02

a transit that can coincide with feeling yourself. You know,

33:04

you might feel pretty sexy. You might feel like you

33:07

want to get out there and get some.

33:10

This is a great time for sex and

33:12

sexual dynamics because it can be really like

33:14

just a fun and energized moment. It's

33:17

also a really good time if

33:19

you've been feeling particularly burnt out

33:21

and trained to fortify your system

33:24

so that you feel the full

33:26

benefits of this transit. So you know, do

33:28

all the things that you know you need

33:30

to do in order to feel good in

33:32

your body or your psyche. This

33:35

transit makes it easier to find

33:37

the motivation that you need to

33:39

do a thing, especially if a

33:41

thing needs confronting. This

33:44

transit will be especially helpful for everyone

33:46

who's been just having such

33:48

a rough time with the Mars-Neptune

33:50

conjunction. If you acted out

33:53

this week, especially with Venus Square

33:55

to Pluto, if you had relationship

33:57

drama or you just were being

33:59

weird. because you were in your head

34:01

and weird. Marisectal to Pluto might make it

34:03

easier for you to just own your prayer

34:06

and start to work towards better

34:08

understanding or peace, whatever is needed.

34:12

Anything that requires bravery, anything that

34:14

requires a burst of

34:16

energy and focused energy, right, because

34:19

Pluto can be quite focused. This

34:22

transit will help you. This transit will help

34:24

you a lot. My guess is that we're going to

34:26

see really strong

34:29

actions from activist

34:31

groups around the world on

34:33

and around this date, because when Mars and

34:35

Pluto form a sex cell to each other, people

34:39

are motivated and they're strengthened by

34:41

movement, by moving together. And movement

34:43

can happen on a physical level,

34:45

but it can also just be

34:47

movements, right, like the movements that

34:49

we have and the feeling that

34:51

they are stronger when we are

34:53

actively engaged in them. The

34:55

one other thing I'll say about this particular

34:58

transit is that in context to the rest

35:00

of the astrology of this week, you

35:03

may have been dealing with a lot

35:05

of vulnerability in various parts of

35:07

your life. This

35:09

transit, it's not like it's going to

35:11

magically give you answers, but it

35:14

can give you that boost so

35:16

that you feel brave enough to

35:18

stay with the work or

35:21

that you feel energized enough to

35:23

go deeper or to

35:26

cultivate acceptance for where you are

35:28

now. A Mars

35:30

sex cell to Pluto is just a lovely

35:32

transit. And it's not going

35:34

to, again, magically give you answers, but

35:36

it is going to support you in

35:39

cultivating greater understanding if that's where you

35:41

put your ambitions, right? It's all about

35:44

where you point your ambitions. And if

35:46

you find yourself putting a lot of

35:48

energy into bullshit, basically things that don't

35:50

make you happy, things that don't make

35:52

your life better, then this is a

35:54

good time for you to ask yourself

35:57

why you're doing what you're doing, what your motivations are.

36:00

And if you don't like what

36:02

you're doing and your motivations aren't that

36:04

impressive to you, they don't actually like

36:06

make sense, then this is a great

36:08

time for change. And this transits energy

36:10

will help you to make a change,

36:12

which is really wonderful and powerful. Now,

36:16

that's it for this week's transits.

36:18

As always, there

36:20

will be a transcript of this

36:22

episode up on my website over

36:24

at ghostofapodcast.com. Within 24 hours

36:27

of the episode drop. Well, so if

36:30

you would like to track the transits,

36:32

just like I do, you can do

36:34

so by subscribing to my transit tracking

36:36

tool. It is very simple. It does

36:39

basically one thing. It tracks the damn

36:41

transits and offers you a place to

36:43

keep notes so that you can make

36:45

sense of your predictions and your insights and all that

36:48

kind of good stuff. And

36:50

that's over at astrologyfordays.com. And

36:52

while you're out there clicking

36:54

links, you may

36:56

as well click on the

36:59

contact form on my website at

37:01

lovelenyado.com or ghostofapodcast.com, whatever it all

37:03

brings you to the same place

37:05

and send me a question to

37:07

be considered for the podcast where

37:10

I give readings every single week

37:12

to you, my community and

37:14

the people I love. All right, take really

37:16

good care of yourself and others. And I will

37:18

talk to you in just a couple of days. Bye.
