I love Dateline

I love the show but don't have time to watch it often so I love the option to listen while in the car or at work. The investigations are always interesting.

It's the audio format of the show. Good for parents who do not want their kids to hear these kind of details.

Grew up watching this. Having it whisper in my ear is amazing.

Most of these journalists come from a different time one journalism professionals workspected to have the same investigative skills as law enforcement. This is one reason why this is by far one of the best true crime podcast out there even though it is only the audio 'of thev TV show. So if you already watch the TV show, it won't be as much use, but otherwise it is something I think the best majority of true crime fans would think of as one of the best. The other thing that makes it so great is the ridiculous budget which allows them to interview a very large number of guests that lower budget. Podcasts cannot and just makes the overall production very easy to listen to in a way that just isn't possible for smaller budget productions.

I like this podcast, because I've been a fan of Dateline for a long time. I would have given it 5 stars, but there is one thing that I wish they would change and that is just putting their episodes from television on the podcast. The reason this is distracting is because you will hear the podcaster say something such as "here is Sandy today" and it's obvious it's just coming from the show and we can't see it on the podcast. I suppose that will just make some people research it online, but that's the only negative I could come up with. Otherwise, it's a great podcast!
