First and foremost, Chris & Lance’s chemistry is phenomenal! The love they have for all things comic related radiates throughout each and every episode. This is the real deal when it comes to comic book podcasts! Fun, in depth analysis, and hilarious banter makes this a shoe in for my weekly podcast rotation!

Fun and Well InformedChris and Lance have a clear passion for comics. They also have really great chemistry. One of my favorite things is how structured the podcast is. They have clearly defined segments that help keep them and the listeners focused. My favorite segment was the Pull list. It was really cool listening to them go through some really iconic issues and arcs. The What if segment has a ton of potential as well. Most importantly they are well informed on comics and they impart their wisdom in a really digestible, non-condescending way. Give them a listen.

If you’re on the hunt for a fun and interesting deep dive on your favourite comic book characters, you’ve found the right place. As someone that has never owned a comic book, I found the hosts extremely welcoming and insightful. A definite sub from me!

Awesome intro, energy, and subject material! As a big superhero fan (who wasn’t allowed many comics growing up) I’m technically only a VERY “casual” comic fan. Informative and entertaining, I have learned much about comics from this show. I would urge you to take time out to listen to them, as they introduce you to characters that you may have heard of, but you will know much better after you finish the episode.

Chris & Lance bring us some great comic book content! In their episodes, they unpack origins / cultural impact while guiding the listener into some deeper and well-informed discussions. It's hard to find pods that cater both to the "true believers" and passive comic fans alike. This is one of those rare gems! I would be remiss in not mentioning that their show is exceptionally well-produced and topics are presented in an engaging way; it gets you excited about these properties. Coupled with a fun energy, undeniable passion, and a deep well of knowledge, this has quickly become a must for our playlist. Dave - Pizza & Parsecs

Definitely a pod for fans of comics both old and new. If a listener is interested in the comic series covered, they receive a ton of information from history to reading recommendations. Most importantly, you don’t have to keep with any current events with this pod. You can pick an episode, listen and learn from what will eventually become a library for that newbie looking to get into comics.

Really enjoy the insight these guys bring to characters that I haven’t known a lot about. Their black manta episode was a lot of fun as a fan of the character they did him justice. Make sure to check them out!

There's a lot to keep up with in the comic book world. These guys break things down in a way that a newbie like me can get it and verterns will still be interested. Love what they're doing.

Thoroughly accessible and entertaining podcast that helps folks get into otherwise intimidating subject material: comics! These two have some great chemistry, know their stuff, and the production is crisp and professional as well. Definitely worth a listen!

Chris & Lance are doing a great job of breaking down characters that fans just entering the growing comic book zeitgeist may not have a full history of.They are extremely well versed on the comics they cover and are a great series to check out if you're just getting started in comic properties.
