One of the things I love about podcasts is the opportunity for people to be able to build their own platforms to speak about and to their own communities, without having to explain to or get permission from outsiders. This show is such a great example of that, with a wide variety of topics important to Indigenous people, covered and discussed by Indigenous people. As a non-Indigenous person of color, I learned a lot listening to this first season, including ways that Indigenous communities face issues that are both similar to and distinct from other communities of color. I'm really glad this show exists and I am looking forward to season 2.

This is an exceedingly well-produced podcast with gorgeous cover art accompanying each episode. More significant, though, this podcast gives voice to important news about, discussions of, and conversations surrounding Indigenous issues.Not only would I recommend this podcast, I will be actively working to convince everyone I know to listen.(I've written this review several times only for it to not post and find different good things to say about it each time. I'm sure my former versions of this review were more eloquent/thorough, but the essential idea is the same: LISTEN TO THIS EXCELLENT PODCAST!)
