Sooo funny! Phenomenal voice acting, hilarious voice actors, intriguing and interesting characters, immersive sound effects. Queer characters and well-made references to queer culture that feel comfortable and human, not pander-y. Love love love it! Highly recommend!
I love how awkward Hannah manages to be despite being undead. Can't wait to hear more of what she has to go through!
Hannahpocalypse is delightful. I wasn't expecting such a sweet show, knowing that one character was a zombie going in. I love the way Hannah's voice/brain interacts with and contrasts/relates to zombie-Hannah, it makes for very fun and different narration. Definitely recommend if you like dark humor, queer crushes, hopepunk, apocalypse situations, exploring what it means to *be* human but in like a fun way, and also....if you were ever that person playing the Sims who enjoyed messing with the grim reaper, I dunno why but I feel like that tracks.
there's so much love & care poured into this sweet show! a delightful, cute, heartwarming & queer fourth-wall-breaking zombie apocalypse hope-punk comedy~ solid blend of vibes, going from instances of rly good tension, to silly tongue-in-cheek comedy, to darker thriller/light horror moments, to slice-of-life, to romantic comedy, to explorations of trauma, to fun action smoothly & effortlessly, all while maintaining a certain light & embodied reflectivity. the sound design, voice acting, editing & music are fantastic & immersive, the characters are fun... overall I just get a really sweet, friendly & open vibe from the whole show~ also it feels quite comic-booky, which i rly likewent in with only the knowledge that it was queer & the desire for sumthin funny & light, & was so pleasantly surprised at the heart of this show, it just makes me smile the whole time I'm listening! :)
I love humming along with the intro song as my voice is a violin. It's beautiful. And the show itself is pretty great as well :D
