Done before I'm through my first cup of Coffee and it conveys almost everything I miss by skipping the network news channels. The Daily is part of my morning routine.
The daily is a part of my morning routine, and I honestly can't imagine starting my day without it. Wonderfully produced, as you'd expect, and Michael is a wonderful and knowledgeable host.
To the point, extremely well researched, great presentation - no one does this better. So far!
This is the New York Times' daily podcast. Rather than trying to cover all the current news, this podcast does an excellent job of really diving into one particular current event or issue at a time. Great journalism and some excellent interviews. This is easily one of my favorite news podcasts.
Stumbled onto this pod and started binge-listening while renovating our house last year. Now, I listen everyday, if not every second day. I'm not in the USA but find most episodes really interesting, The Daily is essentially my news catch up time.
I am always somewhat disappointed with conversations with this particular columnist/reporter because he seems slow to connect data. For example, today he pointed out that's the testimony of Sondland and others is one step removed from Trump. The conversation never got around to the infamous phone call, which, with the testimony of these people is pretty darn solid. It's true that Graham is going to say that Trump was badly served by these people, and they were operating on their own agendas. But, Trump gave it all away in the phone call. And once more, we already know that Graham has no intention of attending to the testimony and will not vote to convict. So where is the onus? On the evidence or on the Graham/Trump GOP bunch?
Being from Belgium, this podcast is interesting to me to get some background information on the news from the USA that reaches us over here.Being a daily :-) podcast there are plenty of headlines to choose from. And strangely, the majority is also relevant for a listener in the EU.Just to say that besides politics, there are a lot of other episodes to choose from if your interests go broader.
I want to testify about Hacker Judas blank ATM cards which can withdraw money from any ATM machines around the world. I was very poor before and have no job. I saw so much testimony about how Judas hackers send them the ATM blank card and use it to collect money in any ATM machine and become rich.Email : [email protected] chats : [email protected]
Some of the most excellent reporting available.
leftist propaganda. Race. Climate Change. Trump is bad. Race. Climate Change. Trump is bad. Race. Climate Change. Trump is bad. Race. Climate Change. Trump is bad. I've heard enough
Can't start my morning without Michael B. and the rest of the team.
Depth including the human reasoning and reactions around the complex political issues and events of our times
I appreciate the in depth investigation that goes into a short podcast. Which means I get a lot of information quickly.
I was a devoted follower/listener of The Daily since it’s launch, but the show which produced a number of groundbreaking episodes/features suffered an unexpected decline in quality. The bias is not hidden and the Wokery is annoying as the guests and the content has turned extreme leftists. Also, the show has shifted from a balance of National and international affairs into Putin and American’s democracy under threat. This is not the trailblazing show that I signed for with a diffident criticism against the democrats, promotion of fear and uncertainty, and instigation of propaganda woke messages. The Post Reports and Slow Newcast are an excellent replacement.
I think you need to focus on other issues and the fact that America's issues that people are focusing on are not priority. The priorities of America right now should be environmental versus economic our economy is directly related to how well our environment is doing as well as how many people we have and the cost of community services that were spending on people who are either useless or are helping and those are the prime issues abortion should not be a prime issue because in all actuality it's how people are raised that determine how intelligent our society will be. And it becomes more apparent every day the people are not being raised right.
I have made this apart of my routine over the last 6 months or so - highly recommend taking time to give this current events podcast a chance. It will make all your dreams come true. Enjoy!
I love how they go in-depth with one story from current affairs, and how they use sound bites and music to move that story along. It's much more than the dry narration that usually defines news stories delivered over radio.
Excellent content. Unfortunately, I can rarely make it through the show. When I hear the host's frequent "acknowledgment tokens" (i.e., brief utterances such as "mm hm" and "uh huh") I feel highly uncomfortable. To me, they sound phony and unprofessional.
I try to listen to this podcast every morning. Love it.
